Great stout amp delivers as expected as always with the JP line of amps. Very pleased will be buying 1 more for my current build that consists of 4 jp23s 6SaV2D2 15s and jp84s on mids n highs.

i went from a 2 sfb 400.4 to the jp8 400.4 an omg what a difference it sounded better an cleaner an didnt have a buzzing noise like i did with the sfb 400.4. the screws on them so smooth to unscrew an screw which the sfb 400.4 was rough an had to play with it to screw it back in. i love the look to it. over all this amp put a big ass smile on my face today.

Sounds amazing, espicially active on my morel.comps. I bought the bundled combo with the jp8. The blue andoized looks even better in person!!!! The 4 channel is very clean, powerful& dynamic. Typically I run dsp, but am enjoying the straight, clean, & detailed power!!!!!! Great amps

First off, it was ordered on Wednesday and made it to my steps by Friday. Secondly as I was finalizing my gain stage I got louder and louder with no distortion, I eventually had to back it down simply because my mids were screaming and finally began to distort. Hands down this amp is perfect for my skar 6.5’s. Huge shout-out to Big D of Williston Audio Labs (YouTube) for the testing and review. He is how I found the company and the reason the amp was purchased.

(These are the things I view as positive/neg FOR ME. Opinions differ and your experience may be entirely different) Positives: Fit and finish is great. All terminal connections are solid with no slop in the set screw threads. It has a very compact size for the power it produces. It truly delivers the power it promises. I would describe the output as neutral, meaning it doesn't "color" the sound at all. O-scope readings of the output were very close to identical to the pre-amp (amplitude being the obvious difference). Wide range of signal filter (hp/lp) options Negatives: No built in power fuse (not a real big deal, just odd to not see an amp without one) Clip indicator doesn't seem to have any functionality. Even with a clipped preamp signal and max amp gain, the clip indicator never illuminated (could be just my unit. either way not something I care enough about to want a return/swap) The Blue "power on" LED is hella bright. In my rather small SUV, the glow is significant. It's not that it is distracting, it's just out of place, a little too "extra". The manual doesn't explain how to set up the filters to be in a "bandpass" configuration. My assumption is you set hp and lp on the same channels, at the same time, but there are nothing in the manual about it. and....DOESN'T come with a bass knob!!!! (Not mad j/k :D ) I don't care about a bass knob at all, but to be clear bass knob not included. Actually, I don't know if it's even an option. Overall opinion - looks to be a solidly built, compact 4ch amp that makes good, clean power and can double as a cabin or trunk ambient light source.
