Introducing the new Mezzo SQ2 component set, version 2 of the renowned Mezzo-65 components.
Designed from the ground up, through copious amounts of R&D with use of the highest quality materials, we met our goals of creating a reference grade component set.
Suitable for all types of music, the Mezzo's excel in strong midbass extension, natural midrange presence and smooth crisp tweeter output.
The SQ2 Woofer
The Mezzo woofer starts with a Super rigid, powder coated Cast and CNC Machined aluminum basket.
Utilizing low-carbon steel plates and a copper shorting ring, the motor consists of a Y35 Grade Ferrite Magnet, mated to a CNC machined pole piece.
A precision high temperature 1.25" copper voice coil was used, coupled to a Ultra light HoneyComb Carbon-Kevlar™ woven cone & dustcap, free of any fiber impurity to maximize a uniform level of rigidity throughout all surface area.
The SQ2 crossover
The key to a superior component set, is a superior passive crossover.
Fitted with Ultra low tolerance Capacitors and low-stray inductors, mounted on separately phased planes, ensuring no cross-talk, excellent fidelity and minimal power loss at the crossovers.
The crossover network features 18db/octave cutoffs at 3400hz in both the Tweeter and Midrange networks, allowing for a more precise transition between the 2 components.
Adjustable tweeter level circuit for output balancing to be easily tune-able in any install scenario.
The SQ2 Tweeter
The Mezzo SQ2 tweeter is custom milled from 1 solid piece of billet aluminum, allowing for extremely precise tuning of the custom designed rear chamber.
29mm in size, it features a Transparent natural fiber Silk Dome, and super high grade dual ring Neodymium magnet, with a Copper 26mm voice coil for higher power handling, aiding for the goal of lower Fs and increased Fidelity then the typical counterpart.
The specially designed rear chamber precisely controls the rear wave during high volume and dynamics in your music in order to preserve detail and linearity.

crescendo sq2 6.5's
I am running 4 sets of crescendo sq2 6.5's and 4 PWX 8's on 3 crescendo s4's and they sound great very clear sound and puchy mid bass I would definitely recommend it all

These things are good quality looking Heavy duty havent hooked up yet will be doing this weekend and will write another review at that time.

oh my WOW!!
After blowing up my Focal 6.5 speakers I wanted something better and these 6.5 components really put out the sound and have great sound quality. You can see the build quality is awesome. I would recommend the mezzo sq2 to anyone and everyone.

MEZZO SQ2 component 6.5"
First let me start off by saying JP is the coolest down to earth kind of guy answered all my emails and even price matched my speakers when nobody else would thanks for that bro appreciate it ! Now the mezzo SQ2 component speaker are very nice well-built and the quality is there Tweeter is loud and bright not too harsh just a good balance the mid-woofer is good looking very will builded nice Cone nice basket and push terminals which are really great most importantly it sounds great definitely hear the bass come from these 6.5" The crossover is where I think crescendo drop the ball very flimsy doesn't seem like it's going to stand up just doesn't feel solid I have had them for about a month now they're working just fine only time will tell But definitely very good set of components if price better I maybe would've bought another set
