The SA coaxial speakers are based on the same cast frame series as the component, use the same cone material, and have a similar tweeter design. So most of what has been said about the sound of the SA component holds true for the coaxial. The coaxial features a built-in crossover capacitor for the tweeter & simply allows the mid to roll off naturally – this works well due to the extremely low break-up cone design.
The coaxial does lack some of the advanced voice coil venting techniques (as they are not possible to use with a coaxial) and uses a smaller diameter coil than the component so the power rating is lower – but the fantastic sound is all there.

Clear and loud
I'm glad I decided to go with these for my rear door speakers. I got two in each door wired to 2ohm on a nendo s4.

Awesome!
Purchased these and the SA-69CXs and these are great. Best sounding coaxial speakers I've ever purchased. The highs are amazing at all volumes and really project. I'm hearing things I've never heard before on tracks I've listened to for years. Don't get caught up in 3 and 4 way designs, you don't need them. These 2 way coaxials will do it all. Great job Sundown!

I absolutely love these speakers! I have them in my 2020 Durango and they hit soo hard and fill in that mid bass effortlessly. The composite cone with the butyl rubber surround gives it a nice deep, smooth bass response and the tweeter is crystal clear! Don’t hesitate too buy these!

Amazed
These speakers far exceeded my expectations. I've never heard such an amazing coaxial speakers. These replaced some Infiniti Kappa component speakers. The difference was immediate, and significant. These get much louder while maintaining a clarity that the Infinitis could not do. Yet they're not harsh at all. I was skeptical buying speakers from a subwoofer company, but I could not be any happier. Absolutely unbelievable!! You gotta hear it to believe it. And the 2 day shipping is like Amazon lol.

Some of the cleanest sounding coax speakers I've heard and I've been through quite a few of them since the late 90s. They handle power very well and if installed right you get great mid bass from them. Im powering them with a Skar SKv2 100.4 amp and the SQ is top notch. Running them in the back doors with some good components up front. Build quality is amazing and the pics don't do them justice. I would recommend these over most of the big name brands any day. Glad I took a chance on these with very little information out there on them. If you're in the market for some good 6.5 coaxial speakers don't hesitate on these they won't disappoint!

Sounds great running from stock h.u. can't wait to run some real power to them. (Didn't want to rate them 5* without running proper rms)

I put these in place of the factory speakers in my 2017 Tab 4 limited. The sound quality was much more than I expected for the price. They're hooked up to the factory amp and play loud enough to distort the rear and side view mirrors. I don't even have subs yet. Highly recommend for those on a budget but still want great performance.
