Single 6.5" OR 8" Custom Kerf Ported Subwoofer Box (HAND MADE IN THE USA)

The craftsmanship and skill used to build these boxes is A1. My box came out absolutely beautiful and very well built. As far as quality and looks, this is as good as it gets. Truthfully, my box does not sound the greatest but that is most likely my fault. Now, when i say it doesnt sound the greatest i just mean it isnt loud at all, the box produces very clean sound actually. This is probably because of a few things. 1, the dimensions for the box were fairly small which made the box's cubic footage slightly less than 1 cubic ft. (sundown x-8 recommends .75 cu.ft, my box is .85 cu. ft) 2nd, the box is upward firing. 3rd, the person who actually made the blueprints for my box essentially told me my box could not be tuned to 32hz (recommended for my sub) so i was told 35hz was the closest tuning possible. honestly i am very upset i spent $390 on a box that doesnt produce the sound i desire, but life is a learning game i suppose. Although i spent a large amount of my hard earned money on something i will need to replace, i still highly recommend these custom enclosures, just be sure your design will sound good in the end. in case you were curious, my sound system includes the following: sundown sae 1500, sundown x-8, obviously a custom enclosure as well as sky high car audio 1/0 OFC.

I am extremely pleased with the quality of this box. Attention to detail is definitely noticeable. Keith is the man. He even called me to give me an update on the build and sent some pics during the build. In all in all. The box is very well built and sounds amazing.
