For those who like to go big or go home but on a budget, the Sundown Audio E v4 12" 500W RMS D4 Subwoofer is a perfect choice. With a double-stacked magnet structure and an extremely long voice coil, this subwoofer is designed for linear x-max of 14mm one-way. Additionally, the high mechanical clearances (over 2” peak-to-peak before physical coil bottom) give you plenty of room to experiment without fear of damaging your equipment. And if that wasn't enough, the E series V4 has been upgraded to a full 2.5” diameter coil (this started with the v.3), compared to the 2” coil of previous generations (v.1 and v.2). Plus, the tinsel leads have been upgraded to a new “Mini-XL” lead containing 63-strands of the conductor (a full XL is 84-strands and previous leads contained 42-strands) to help prevent potential failure due to amplifier clipping. Finally, the spider is a high-strength poly-cotton blend designed to handle the full capacity of the motor. So if you're looking for a powerful and reliable subwoofer, look no further than the Sundown Audio E v4 12" 500W RMS D4 Subwoofer. This design features a newly tooled, significantly stronger frame meant to resemble the cast frame on the SA v.2 and U series models.

Great Customer Service - Great Product
Replaced a JLW1 with this sub....night and day difference. Had to turn down the bass on the head unit and turns mids and highs up.

Good subs for a good price
Ordered two of these to go with my JP8, and I can’t complain at all! These Sundowns are still being broke in and they hit lows like crazy. Recommend them to anyone.

Amazing Woofer!
I was a serious db drag racer back in the 90’s and am now getting back into doing some builds. I did my research and ended up choosing Sundown and I am thrilled that I did. I put two e series 12’s in a Jeep JKU and it slams. These woofers are a great buy for someone not wanting to spend their whole paycheck on one woofer. The design, construction, and sound are absolutely amazing!
