The description of this speaker is very accurate. These are by far the best mid I've heard for car audio. The amount of power these can handle is ridiculous, they never get hot. They are SUPER clear. Alittle about my setup: I've got these mids on a 250.4 @ 4 ohm running at 8 ohm per side, using only 2 channels.... needless to say but even on less than half rated power, ear plugs recommend. These things are also as heavy as a small subwoofer, no joke. Had a nice couple door pods made for them with extra support. About the speaker: These mids scream mids... vocals TEAR thru the chest like none other... NOT FOR THE WEAK MIDS. Make sure to turn them down about 6-12db at 3100hz.. they peak hig at the #1 ear fatigue range... once turned I down, I could go all night without fatigue. These things chew thru power.. I had them bridged at 4ohm - (amp rating) RMS Power @ 4 Ohms (Bridged) : 800 Watts x 2 (14.4v) running at 15.5volts - needless to say they were so blistering loud you couldn't come within its radius without pure hurt in the ears...enough said.
